• KMJ's 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  Koperasi Maju Jaya Malaysia Berhad (KMJ) successfully held its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25 July 2026 at MAHSA Avenue International College, Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was attended by 115 delegates, whose enthusiastic participation contributed to the event's outstanding success. The strong attendance reflected the delegates' continued commitment and support towards KMJ's growth and future development.

  ➤ New Strategic Mandates Approved

  The delegates unanimously approved the resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to:
  • Initiate the development and planning of a new KMJ building.
  • Venture into the Ar-Rahnu (Islamic Pawnbroking) business as part of KMJ's business diversification strategy.
  • Introduce Special Deposit schemes and Soft Loan facilities for the benefit of existing KMJ members.

  ➤ RM500,000 Annual Scholarship

  Chief Guest, Prof. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Haji Mohamed Hanifah Bin Haji Abdullah the HBS Constitutional Head of Masha University, announced an annual scholarship fund of RM500,000 for KMJ members and their immediate family members who pursue their studies at MAHSA. This initiative reflects MAHSA's commitment to supporting educational excellence and providing greater access to higher education for the KMJ community.

  ➤ Golden Jubilee Ahead

  KMJ will proudly celebrate its 50th Anniversary next year, marking five decades of dedicated service and commitment to its members. In conjunction with this significant milestone, the Cooperative will organize a series of special commemorative events and introduce enhanced member benefits as a gesture of appreciation for the continued trust and support of its members throughout the years.

• Successful Utilisation of KUSKOP PKKI Grant

  KMJ has successfully and fully utilised the RM30,000.00 PKKI Grant provided by KUSKOP to develop a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS). The system encompasses membership management, consumer financing management, accounts management, and an integrated e-commerce platform to support the cooperative's trading activities

• Successful Bali Tour for Members

  KMJ Tour & Travel successfully organised a 4-Day, 3-Night trip to Bali, Indonesia, from 21 to 25 May 2026, exclusively for KMJ members. The tour was conducted in collaboration with Routers Tour & Travel Sdn. Bhd. and received positive feedback from participants, further enhancing member engagement and value-added services offered by the cooperative.

• Syariah Compliance Certification

  KMJ is proud to announce that it was officially conferred the Syariah Compliance Certificate by ANGKASA on 10 June 2026. This recognition reflects KMJ's commitment to upholding Syariah principles and best practices in its operations and business activities.
